18 Past Captains played in the Past Captains Trophy today. Alison Robertson was the overall winner with 40 points and Nancy MacGadie was Runner Up with 39 points. Some of the older Past Captains joined the rest for lunch and Sally Nisbet was winner of the putting competition --- 24 Past Captains attended the lunch and there were apologies from 11 Pas Captains

Helen Crichton is holding an Open Day in her garden on Sunday 17th June.

The Gardens are open from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday 17th June .
There are 5 gardens in Bridge of Weir. They will be signposted from the bottom of Prieston Road with yellow signs. The easiest to find Helen's garden is: - Airlie which is straight on up Prieston Road and is on the right hand side and will have a small Gazebo at the gate so should be easy to spot. The charge is £3 for all three gardens, there is a plant stall in Helen's garden and tearoom at one of the other gardens.
There was a big article on the gardens in last sundays Scotland on Sunday in the At Home section if you still have the paper. The herbaceous borders and several interesting features that are worth a look at

Girls Trip to Dublin

The Ranfurly Castle Ladies in Dublin
Sarah Kirby had her 1st "hens night /day" girls outing for her wedding by inviting a few Ranfurly Castle friends to Dublin. The weather,however, was very disappointing. Very Windy at Portmarnock on the Saturday and stairroda rain at the K Club on Sunday.
They all had a great time tho'
