FRIENDLY MATCH AT ELDERSLIE - SUNDAY 24 APRIL 2022

Ranfurly Castle's Friendly Team ladies enjoyed a lovely, sunny day at Elderslie on Sunday 24 April.
Elderslie was in great condition, with very fast greens, and several of our girls are hoping to go back for their Ladies Open Day having played extremely well and therefore getting a great first impression of the course!

Unfortunately due to injury and Covid, Elderslie were unable to field a full team at the last minute, but their organiser came up with a creative format that saw a couple of 3-balls go out, which only added to the chat and fun on the day. I am pleased to report that a team win was recorded for Ranfurly Castle, although the main thing was everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Pictured practising before tee-off: (L to R) - Senga Nixon, Kate Scott, Lindsay Barclay, Anne Gordon, Pauline MacEwan. Not in picture (although had the best score of the day despite not practising!) - Evelyn McDermid.

Helen Crichton

 Ladies

Helens daughter, Sheila, has been in touch with the club to let us know that Helen has been admitted to ward 23 at the RAH after having another fall.

I will be sending Helen a card from us all to wish her a speedy recovery.

We had all enjoyed Helen joining us for lunch and coffee over recent weeks - hopefully we will see her back amongst us soon.
