The Greenlees Team won 5 - 4 today at Ranfurly against a Cathkin Braes team containing many experienced match players. It was always going to be hard for the girls at the front of the team and they put up a good fight but it was the back of the team that brought in the points.
The match was sitting finely balanced at 4 - 4 and awaiting the result of Helen Craig's game. Helen got a big cheer from her Ranfurly team mates when it was heard that she had won her match on the 18th to make the result an overall victory for Ranfurly Castle.

OUR GREENLEES TEAM DON'T LIKE MONDAYS !
This was shown to be the case by the 0 - 9 loss at Milngavie yesterday.
On paper the Milngavie team looked to be very strong and so it proved to be despite our best efforts.
