WEST RENFREWSHIRE LEAGUE TEAM WIN FIRST MATCH

Congratulations to the West Renfrewshire League team of Sarah, Jan, Maureen, Vivien, Mary H and Joy who won the first match of the 2016 season tonight at home against Caldwell. The team won 4 1/2 to 1 1/2 on a disappointingly horribly wet evening when hot tea afterwards and home for a hot bath was definitely the order of the day. Why did I not wear my boots?!

PAST LADY CAPTAINS' TROPHY

 The Past Lady Captains Day is on 24th June and I have put a notice regarding this on the notice board in the locker room.  Please can you indicate whether or not you will be able to attend and then whether you will be participating, both the golf and the lunch, or just the lunch.
I have also put up a copy of the menu and would ask that you indicate your choice of lunch.  Further information regarding the play on the day will follow nearer the time.  If you have any problems getting to the club, please feel free to contact me and I will add your name as required.

Many congratulations go to junior Alison Macnab who won the West of Scotland Girls Medal at Paisley Golf Club today with a 87 (18) net 69 - 4 under the CSS which was 73

CENTENARY TROPHY- CAPTAIN JOY IS THE WINNER

Well done to Alison Macnab who played 1 under her handicap at the RLCGA Spring Meeting at Paisley Golf Club yesterday to be 3rd in the 13+ handicap group.

WIN FOR WEST OF SCOTLAND GIRLS

Congratulations to the West of Scotland Girls team who beat the East of Scotland Girls today at Kingsknowe, Midlothian. The team including Ranfurly Castle's Alison Macnab and fellow Renfrewshire girl Jennifer Rankine managed to win back the Mhairi McKay trophy which had been held by the East for the last two years. Well done girls!

FUN COMPETITIONS!!

Good morning Ladies.   I wold like to draw your attention to the following 2 FUN Competitions which are open to all category of Membership.  The first is on 10th June and is a Charity Tri-Am while the 2nd is on 14th June and is to Celebrate the 90th birthday of the Queen.  This looks like being a very good day with Lilias dreaming up lots of interesting surprises for us all!
