Lunch will be served at about 12.45pm.  There is a prize for the best outfit so get the thinking caps on!!  If we are unlucky with the weather and are unable to golf, there will be a short quiz before lunch so please come at 12.00pm and join up with the rest of your golf team.  In the event of golf being cancelled I will try to Blog the information by 9.30am on the day.

Wednesday 16th golf!

Morning anyone out there!  A few will  be meeting at the club for lunch today - but golf will be on for anyone who wants to brave it!  The fire was lit last Wednesday and we had a lovely, cosy lunch.  Join us!

XMAS FUN COMPETITION AND LUNCH

With the snow today you would be forgiven if you thought that Christmas was nearer than it actually is!  Don't panic just yet.  
The Xmas 9hole Fun Competition and Lunch is on Wednesday 7th December and the list for names is now up in the locker room.   Golf - weather permitting - will be 10.00am followed by lunch at 12.45pm.  If you do not want to golf, but would like to come for lunch, please indicate this on the list.  The cost is £7.00 and includes a choice of 2 soups and a roll, with the choice of several fillings, mince pie, tea/coffee.   Choices will be made on the day.  Xmas dress is expected and there will be a prize for the best dressed.  If you will not be able to get to the club but would like to add your name, just contact  myself
and I will do it for you.
A reminder that the Children's Xmas Party is on Saturday 3rd December and names are now being taken at the Bar for this event.
Finally, the fire was lit today at the club and several ladies enjoyed lunch round the fire!!

West Vets winners at the 2016 AGM at Cowglen Golf Club

Jean, Fiona and Anne - West Vet Winners

The West Vets AGM and prize giving took place today at Cowglen Golf Club.

Ranfurly Castle's Jean Irvine, Fiona Roger and Anne Judge  were amongst the prizewinners

Jean won the Supervets Trophy and was over all winner of the Spring Meeting
Anne was the overall winner of the Summer meeting
Fiona was the Super Vets winner at the Autumn Meeting
