The annual competition between the Captain's team and the Vice Captain's team, for the honour of holding the Pooh Putter, took place today. Amazingly the course was open and we managed 18 holes, despite the amount of rain that has been falling.
The winning team members were those playing for Pauline, Vice Captain, 6 matches to 2. Well done to everyone.

The draw will be posted shortly for this year’s Pooh Putter competition, which will be Greensomes match play between the Lady Captain’s Team and the Vice Captain’s team. Matches will start at 9.10am, with the last at 10am. I sincerely hope the weather doesn’t defeat us, but if it does, we’ll just have to meet for coffee!!
Unfortunately the rain has delayed our Ladies Club Championship final. We hope that the game will be played on Sunday 15th September at 11.30am, and will confirm this soon. I do hope that many of you will come out that day to support Jan and Allison.
Some of our Championships are now complete and congratulations go to our Bronze Champion Joy McLeod, Silver Knock-out Champion, Denise Cowan, and Summer Foursomes Champions Jan Macnab and Sheila Swinnerton. Very well done Ladies.
