WINTER GREENSOME STABLEFORD

Well done to all who played today, just a wee bit wet!!

Winners of the Carvic Rose Bowl  -  Vivien Howe and Gillian Donaghy (21)  41 points.
Runners up  -  Joy McLeod and Alison Templeton (29)   39 points.

WINTER GREENSOMES

Saw James at lunch time today - expecting frost overnight on top of wetness.  I have postponed the Greensomes till next Wednesday 29 March in the hope it will be drier.  May still be possible to have a few holes certainly lunch.

BRIDGE EVENING

Last night our annual Bridge Evening took place with 20 tables participating.  A most enjoyable evening was had by all and the Ladies committee produced the usual wonderful spread for supper.  A huge thanks to all.
Winners of a small slam were Mike Holm and Gordon Adams.
3rd place with 2170 points was Ken MacKenzie.
2nd place with 3680 points was Peter Nicol.
1st place with 4040 points was Timothy Russell.
It certainly was a successful evening for the male species.
Prizes were presented by Lady Captain Pamela McKenzie.
The raffle for Alzheimer's Scotland raised a fantastic sum of £341.
A big thank you to all involved.

5 CLUB 12 HOLE STABLEFORD

The season has started and 20 Ladies braved the VERY windy conditions - along with a fair bit of rain and hail, for some.

We will hope for better weather for the Winter Greensomes

LADIES AGM

I'm sorry but due to the very poor weather conditions, I have had to cancel tonight's AGM.
I have just been over to the Club and the road conditions are not good. With further snow forecast, as well as ice, I do not want to be responsible for anyone having an accident.
We have re scheduled the meeting for Monday 16th Jan at the same time 7.15 for 7.30pm. 
I hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend on this new date and once more, please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused.
