The Renfrewshire County June Medal was played over Bonnyton to-day. The early starters encountered terrible weather conditions with extremely heavy intermittant rain, but the later starters were luckier and the day ended in bright afternoon sunshine. A total of 58 played. The SSS was 71 - the CSS was 74 and it was reductions only.The overall medal winner was Ranfurly Castle's Maureen Cook who had 87 - 14 - 73. (Pictured )
The Medal Finals were played in conjunction with this medal and the winner was Carol Fell - who said "That was my worst score this year " --- However those who had qualified for it were even worse than her !!
