On a sunny, if windy, day our GREENLEES TEAM won 7 - 2 against Kilmarnock Barassie at home last Wednesday.
They finish with 42 1/2 pts.

LADIES -the championship finals will be held this Sunday.
The tee off time for the Ladies is usually 1pm but due to some possible changes in the programme this has still to be confirmed.
I hope that you will be able to come and support our two finalists.

LADIES ANNUAL DINNER -2014

                             Our annual dinner will be held on Wednesday 22nd October.
                         Will those ladies wishing to attend  please add their names to the
                                  list in the clubhouse and tick their  choice of food .
                                               The price per person is £22
                     This is for three courses and includes one glass of wine and tea or coffee

HALDEN CUP 2014 - THE LADIES WIN AGAINST THE MEN

A very enjoyable match was played on a beautiful sunny day with 36 members taking part in the annual golfing dual between the Gents and the Ladies. The course was looking wonderful and afterwards a good lunch was enjoyed by everyone.
Captain Geoff  Urie and Lady Captain Eileen Walker gave their speeches with the usual number of tall stories and jokes.
I am happy to report that the Ladies won  5 - 4

125 CENTENARY COMPETITION - MONDAY 8th SEPTEMBER 2014

Please keep Monday 8th September free to take part in the Ladies 125 Centenary Competition.
This will be a real fun day and is open to ALL our ladies.
It will be played on our 125th  Centenary Course.
This is a wonderful opportunity for all our ladies to meet and take part in a competition.

125th Anniversary Medal - Saturday 16th August 2014

Ladies - another reminder of the 125th Anniversary of Ranfurly Castle Golf Club.
A Medal competition will be held on Saturday 16th August celebrating this event.
The format will be 18 holes Stableford, open to all categories of members. Tee times can be booked online or at the Pro-shop.

The Ladies section were lucky yet again with the weather. On a beautiful sunny day with the course looking wonderful despite the torrential rain of the last few days 32 ladies played in the Pooh Putter this year.
The result was very close. Congratulations to the Lady Vice Captain's team who won by one game.

SUCCESSFUL OPEN DAY RAISES £450 FOR ST VINCENTS HOSPICE

We had a very successful day, 48 couples played in lovely sunshine, many of them giving compliments about the course.
Winners with 40 pts were Diane Baldwin and Michelle Anderson from Hilton Park. 2nd Helen Abram RCGC and Liz Crighton from Kilmacolm, 3rd May Hughes Lanark and Janice Paterson Drumpellier and 4th Julie Will Troon Ladies and Pat Pennel RCGC.
