Many congratulations to Jan Macnab who is our 2024 Champion.
A good crowd of members followed an excellent match between defending champion Allison Murray and Jan Macnab at the delayed final on Sunday September 15th. Allison had the better start going 1 up at the 2nd, but Jan came back strongly to level the match at the 3rd. The match remained level until the 8th with Jan 2 up at the turn. Holes 10, and 11 were halved before Jan made it 3 up winning the 12th. A win for Jan at the 14th, and a half at 15 determined the result. Very well done to both ladies, commiserations to Allison, and many thanks to the two caddies Sheila and Lesley for supporting them calmly throughout.
