As we approach the end of my tenure as Lady Captain, I am delighted to announce that Mrs Eleanor Stewart has agreed to be the Lady Captain for 2026. Eleanor has a wealth of experience in the golfing world and has played golf for many years. This will stand her in good stead for her year as lady captain.
When I played my first ever West Renfrewshire match it was at Ralston GC and Eleanor kindly offered to walk around her childhood course with me, giving me insider information. I wish I could tell you that I won as a result!
