Anne Judge and I are really looking forward to competing tomorrow for the Pooh Patter. For those that have not played before, it is a friendly match between a Lady Captain's Team and a Lady Vice Captain's Team.
To allow everyone to enjoy their game without pressure, and to reinforce that this is a fun competition, Anne and I have decided that this year it will NOT be matchplay. We will play in a Greensomes format, with each player contributing 6 drives, and it will be a Stableford Competition. This will allow pairings to pick up if they are not going to score. Once all pairs have finished we shall total up the Stableford points and announce the winner in the Clubhouse over Lunch.
When you arrive tomorrow your cards will be prepared and scores will be noted on cards and not phones.
