Old Ranfurly invited ladies from Ranfurly Castle and Kilmacolm to play in a fun Solhiem Cup event on Sunday 6th September. Despite the awful weather early morning, the match was played in blustery and, mainly dry, conditions with USA coming out as the victors. Afterwards a delicious afternoon was served and the Trophy was presented. The day was even better for one member of Old Ranfurly - she had her first ever Hole in One at the13th! Congratulations to Elaine Penman.
Great fun was had by all and it looks like this could become a regular event in the golfing Calendar!
