LADIES ANNUAL DINNER 2025

Many thanks to all of you who attended our Annual Dinner last Wednesday.  Joy has kindly posted some lovely photos from the evening and thank you for doing this.  I hope all the prize winners get good usage or enjoyment from their wins.  The food was lovely on the night and Leanna, Stephen & Dale all looked after us on the night.

I would like to thank you all personally for being so generous with the raffle.  We raised an amazing £440 on the night and this will be sent to the Macular Disease Society along with the amount raised at the Charity triam.

Please remember our "extra" notices at the end of the dinner.

LADIES DINNER

On Wenesday 25th October 48 ladies enjoyed a great evening at the annual dinner.  Karen had arranged for Leigh Maybury, a Life Style specialist, to give us a few tips on personal colours ,while also having a 'pop up' shop.  This proved popular with quite a few!

The dinner was excellent and Leanna and her team did a wonderful job.  The raffle for Quarriers was well supported with some lovely prizes.  Judging by the volume of chatter the evening was a big success.  A huge thank you to Karen for all her organisation - as well as the lovely tablet, chocolates and Fizz.

FINAL CALL FOR LADIES DINNER - AND PAYMENT REQUIRED!

There are still a few days left to sign up for the ladies dinner being held on Wednesday 26th October 6.30pm for 7pm.
Cost £25 per head to include welcome drink but NOT gratuity.
Sign up sheet and menu on the ladies locker room noticeboard - please indicate menu choices.

Could all ladies ensure that they pay Leanna BEFORE Wednesday 26th September as time constraints on the night mean it will be difficult for Leanna to accept payments.

Also Leanna has asked that we indicate our choice of welcome drink in advance on the sign up sheet - either a small glass of fizz (option 1)or a non-alcoholic G&T (option 2).

Many thanks, and look forward to seeing you in the clubhouse on 26th.

LADIES DINNER

The first Ladies Dinner since 2019 was held on Wednesday 27th October in the newly refurbished clubhouse.  It was a very wet evening but that didn't stop 44 ladies from coming out to enjoy the evening.  Sadly one lady failed to make it due to the dreadful flooding around Paisley and with so many roads closed as a result.

The catering team did a wonderful job coping with all the orders, both food and bar, to ensure that everyone was safe and remained seated at their table.  It certainly was a noisy affair and, after such a long time without socialising, it was lovely to be back to some form of normality.

Captain Gillian welcomed everyone at the start of the evening and then presented the Fun Competition prizes at the end.  Anne Judge informed us that the Greenlees Team had won Division 2 comprehensively and will be playing back in Division 1 next season.  She also thanked Nancy MacGadie for her dedication to the team over 7 decades and wished her a happy 'retirement'. She will be sadly missed.

The final event of the year will be the Festive Tri-am on Wed 8th December.  Entries can now be made via the Scottish golf app and the draw will be made as usual before the event.  Information regarding lunch afterwards will follow.

Here are a few photos of the evening!

LADIES DINNER

On Wednesday 23rd October 43 ladies enjoyed a lovely evening at the annual dinner.  Despite all the disruptive work being carried out fitting new windows in both the smoke room and mixed lounge, Simon, Mandy and their team coped amazingly. No one would have known how the room had looked only a couple of hours before everyone arrived! Judging by the noise level, everyone had a good time.
Jan welcomed everyone and presented the Fun Competition prizes before giving a little explanation of how she proposes to run the Ladies Section next season in light of the fact that there is no Vice Captain to take over in January.
As usual Jean Irvine has taken a very good selection of photos of the evening.

LADIES ANNUAL DINNER 2016

43 Ladies attended the Annual Dinner at the club last night and, judging by the noise during the evening, a good time was had by all!  The room looked very nice with red napkins on the tables along with attractive little flower posies and the presentation and flavour of the dinner was first class.
The medal prizes were presented at the end of the evening along with prizes for the Fun Competitions held during the season.
A special presentation was made to Carol Fell recognising her hole in one at the 5th hole.  This is Carol's 7th hole in one - a bit greedy some might say - but very well done.
On checking the following photos, I notice that Lilias decided the wine was too good to leave any behind!!
